Miloš Felgr

Managing Partner

Miloš Felgr is managing partner of Clifford Chance Prague and head of the finance practice. He is dual-qualified in Czech and Slovak law and specialises in banking and finance law, pre-insolvency restructuring, capital markets, aircraft and energy law, with a particular focus on project and acquisition finance.

Miloš is a Band 1 lawyer for Banking & Finance in the Czech Republic according to Chambers & Partners and is recognized as a leading expert in the CEE. He is renowned for his work on cross-border transactions originating in Prague.

Miloš  co-authored a banking and finance law book for legal practitioners and bankers called "Banking & Finance. General practice." published by C. H. Beck in 2023.

Relevant experience

  • Advising Raiffeisen Bank International, Raiffeisenbank Česká republika and WOOD & Company, as the Joint Global Coordinators (JGCs) on the initial public offering (IPO) of Doosan Škoda Power on the Prague Stock Exchange.
  • Advising Czechoslovak Group (CSG), a Czech industrial group with a strong international presence, on its landmark acquisition of Vista Outdoor’s ammunition division, Kinetic Group, for approximately USD 2.23 billion. This historic transaction represents the largest-ever investment by a Czech company in the United States, marking a significant milestone in the highly strategic defense sector.
  • Advising KKCG on the largest commercial bond issuance for retail investors in the Czech history. The issuance, totalling up to 10 billion CZK, has received approval from the Czech National Bank and marks a significant milestone for KKCG.
  • Advising CTP, Europe's largest listed owner, developer and manager of logistics and industrial real estate by GLA, in connection with the EUR 100,000,000 club financing of Vlněna, a new office, retail and lifestyle campus in Brno city centre.
  • Advising Komerční banka in connection with the financing of the acquisition of CSAD Praha Holding by Penta Real Estate. The transaction, which involves the purchase of prime parcels in Prague, marks a significant move in the real estate development sector.
  • Advising KKCG in acquisition of a 100% share in the end-to-end software engineering and consulting platform Avenga from funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. and funds managed by Cornerstone Investment Management, L.P.
  • Advising a club of banks, consisting of major Czech and Austrian market players, coordinated by Česká spořitelna, Československá obchodní banka and UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia and further comprising of Komerční banka, Raiffeisenbank, and Raiffeisen Bank International in connection with financing of acquisition of Meopta - optika and its subsidiaries by Carlyle. Česká spořitelna is acting as agent of the financing club.
  • Advising a club of banks led by UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia, as mandated lead arranger and sole global coordinator, and with Česká spořitelna, Československá obchodní banka, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Intesa Sanpaolo, Komerční banka, Raiffeisenbank and Všeobecná úverová banka as arrangers, in connection with green and sustainability-linked long-term secured club financing relating to Czech residential portfolio located in Ostrava and Pilsen provided to Heimstaden Czech and guaranteed by Heimstaden Czech Pilsen and Heimstaden Bostad AB, Sweden.
