What does the new law on preventive restructuring bring?

On September 4, 2023, the President of the Czech Republic signed the Act on Preventive Restructuring ("ZOPR"), thus officially ending the difficult path of the Czech implementation of Directive (EU) 2019/1023 of the European Parliament and of the Council of June 20, 2019.

The ZOPR provides for a zero legislative vacancy deadline and thus becomes effective on the first day after its publication in the Collection of Laws.
